Has anyone done this before ? If so, how ? o Did you build a UIM (Unit Information Module) ? Were you able to use other IBM devices' support modules and routines or did these modules have to written from scratch ? o Were there any other requirements for DFP (Device Facility Product) ? o Were modifications required to the application code that accessed the device, or did the application access the device via JCL ? o Does anyone have any hardware manuals for the 2314, (CCW strings, etc.) Any references would be sincerely appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------- Ron Schultz Network Solutions, Inc.
