C++ 2.0 on hpux 835 Message-ID: <35190@cornell.UUCP> Date: 15 Dec 89 12:57:19 GMT Sender: nobody@cornell.UUCP Reply-To: deb@cs.cornell.edu (David Baraff) Distribution: comp Organization: Cornell Univ. CS Dept, Ithaca NY Lines: 13 Help! I'm trying to compile C++ 2.0 on an HP-UX 835. I've got C++ 1.2 as my current compiler. When I compile cfront, whether with -g, -O or nothing, it always bus errors immediately (well, memory fault actually) upon invocation, while initt'ing the symbol table stuff for lex. Has anyone seen this? I'm running out of things to try. The only thing I can think of is to try to make C++ 2.0 from the scratch files. (Anyone done this under hpux?) Any help appreciated (please e-mail) David Baraff
