All fail more or less ( usually more). Documentation, as well as being un-UNIX like, is barely passable. One good implementation is MKS Make, from Mortice-Kern in Canada. Doco is excellent. Supports various common compilers with a compiler front-end to simplify the various incompatibilities they all exhibit. Disclaimer: I have no connection with MKS, and refute all accusations that my brother-in-law works there. ( Its all lies, lies,..) ..........................................................
