I would like to have this feature too. I like my incoming mailbox to
be sorted by date sent, my todo mailbox by reverse date sent and some
other mailboxes by subject. Now I have to go into the options menu
and change this every time I look at the specific mailbox.

Another feature in this section would be to have at least to sorting
criterias, so that you can sort your mailbox e.g. by Priority first
and then by date sent.
