The winner? Microsoft's Programming OS/2 & Programming PM. (and, of course, the one vote for the newspaper...) :-) Now, for a couple of things that have been nagging at me... 1. When I use the version of uEMACS posted here recently, all works fine for about an hour, and then I get a protection violation, causing all of my work to be lost in never-never land. I'm using uEMACS under PM with ASAVE set. I DON'T have the same file open twice. The other programs running are File System, TimeLine (clock program), ScrnBlnk, and AnyWhere (file finder). Is it me? And, is there any way to make OS/2 be more reasonable about the violation? It seems to me that it wouldn't hurt anything if OS/2 gave a menu something like DOS's Abort, Retry, Ignore. (Then again, I'm pretty stupid!) Since the violation was intercepted by the OS, what could it hurt just to ignore it and let the program run? By the way, I use EE 1.1 2. If you know of any good archive sites for OS/2 stuff, mail them to me. IF there's enough response (> two) I'll compile them and post here. -- _ __ _ __ __ __ lance@vax1.acs.udel.edu o o o _// / ) ' ) ) / ) / ` / o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o / /--/ / / / /-- / o o o o o o o o o o o o o o /___ / (_ / ( (__/ (___, o o o o o o o o o o o o o
