Yesterday I picked up an _old_ external hard drive for the Macintosh... One of the ones that sat next to the Mac. The power supply for the beast looks a lot like an old Apple ][ power supply; however it lacks a switch or a connector to an Apple motherboard. The cable which supplies power to the drive unit has 8 pins. Does anyone know what the pin-outs are for the cable? it is a "Hard disk for the Apple Macintosh" "part #20200" "External Power Supply" Any other information about the drive unit would be welcome. It had an Adaptec "Mac-10 controler board" and a Rodime "RO 352" 10 Mb hard drive unit... -- Matthew Goldman (612) 936-9675 goldman@ferris.cray.com
