Isn't it about time for 4.2 to die?  Yes, 4.2 is dumb, but even in
a court of law ignorance is no excuse (imagine how many politicians
could get off if ignorance was all it took :-)  ).

Source route traceroute is out already, better get the weak and disabled
off the street.  There must be a nice warm corner waiting for them in
a Smithsonian exhibit, perhaps right next to the Strowger switches?
