The folks at our lab. have been users of Ethernet for
years, but now we are considering building an interface to
connect some laboratory electronics to our (DEC Ultrix)
computers using Ethernet.  The UDP protocol would probably
meet our needs.  We're no strangers to microprocessor-
based designs, but we are novices in the Ethernet area.

We would like to use a Motorola MC6809 processor because we
have the best development tools for it.  Can someone suggest
some compatible Ethernet chips to use with it?  Also, does
someone tell me what chips are used in the Kinetics Fastpath
box?
