The question is this: The Mac uses a variable speed drive, which is the reason why the amiga is incapable of reading mac format disks (or at least partially). A friend who currently ( I say currently beause I'm trying to passively persuade him to upgrade to an Amiga ) owns and ST says that Atari's Mac emulator Spectre GCR (?) is able to fully read/write mac disks.
