Davis - Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Lines: 27 I will work on lots of Lisp stuff and other CPU-bound projects next quarter. Instead of depending on the VAXs and Suns, I'd like to do the projects on my A1000. However, I realize that the 7.xx MHz 68k will not provide sufficient horsepower. Thus I think I've to power up my Amy a bit. Questions: - What are the processor accelerators available for the A1000? And what are their prices? - Is the transputer available for the Amy? Again, what is the price (for the basic model)? - I've heard about the Infinity Machine from MAST, but is it for real? Please send your information / opinions via email to my account, I'll be off-line for about 14 days and catching up with this newsgroup is very time-consuming. I'll post a summary of the suggestions / information received.
