Is this with any real problem???? I downloaded VirusX-4.zoo from mrcnext.cso.uiuc.edu (amiga/virus directory). I noticed the VirusX docs referring the a verion of KV which isn't in the zoo file??? I installed it on my SYS: partition, and added the command VirusX to my S:startup-sequence, and it appears to work fine (not that I have any viruses). System setup: A500 with A501 ram/clock A590 with 2M of RAM A590 reinstalled disk with 3 partitions, using the A590 setup software with Workbench 1.3.2 and Extras 1.3 Misc PD software (arp.library, Dmouse/Dlineart, Noclick3.5 mymenu, etc. installed) Perhaps the problems were similar to Excellence's in which installing 1.3.2 should fix them. I haven't seen a guru in a while... For those A590 owners looking for RAM, I purchased mine from "The Chip Merchant" for $158.50 total including 2nd Day UPS COD charges. 16- CMOS 256Kx4/80nS DIPs @$9.50 each UPS 2nd Day UPS @$6.50. They have a toll free number (800)426-6375 otherwise (619)268-0874 -Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with CBM, VirusX-4, or the ChipMerchant except as a happy customer. I have no affiliations with computer viruses at all. -Ed Berger eberger@b.psc.edu
