There is no Ada compiler currently ported to the Amiga that I know of. I have been off the net for the past few weeks and have not compiled all of the responses to my request of Ada interest. Off the top of my head there were thirty-five or so responses, several with multiple interested parties. To Recap: R&R Software of Madison, WI has said that there is some internal interest in porting the JANUS Ada compiler (validated) to the Amiga, BUT there would have to be significant interest expressed in the port (ie I think they would like us to commit to buying the Amiga-based compiler). Their current release sells for $300.00 on the little blue box. I would commit to the purchase if the port time was reasonable. Another possibility might be the University of York Ada compiler. I believe they several port in progress. -- Philip E. Johnson UUCP: usenet!ingr!b3!sys_7a!phil MY words, VOICE: (205) 772-2497 MY opinion!
