Well the Oxford University Press has stated that it eventually will release
such a beast but when is anyone's guess.  Right now they're busy with the
printed version of the NOED itself.

When they do make a CD-ROM version of the NOED, though, it will likely be
different from the currently available CD-ROM OED.  Now they have a 
computerized database to work with (thanks to the hard-working folks here
at UW) I expect they'll come out with a really nifty product.  They do
realize the market potential.....
