I heard a rumor that a special sequence of otherwise meaningless instructions
will cause the 68000 to stuff into one of the registers some sort of
CPU serial number, implying that not all 68000's are exactly the same.
Can anybody substantiate this rumor?
(I chose this thread because if anybody would have this sort of info it
would be the people that know what bugs were in the CPUs...)
