    I had this get me before with DNET.   What you need to do is rename the
node.info file to node.rinfo which is not explained anywhere in the docs.  I 
read the Transactor article by Doug Walker and there was mention of a 
node.rinfo file.  You can use any drawer icon for this file.  Just make sure
it is named node.rinfo, in fact you don't need the node.info drawer other than
as a source for node.rinfo.

   I've been running this net quite a distance over flat cable (>50feet) but
it does deteriorate.  DiskPerf says that PARNET gets transfers of ~30K/sec.
I like PARNET a lot but it not being bi-directional is a real killer for me. 

   PARNET: and DNET: can't be accessed via things like UtiliMaster, SID and
DiskSalv1.42 has problems too.  DiskSalv will work if you assign a volume name
to destination directory and use NOCHECK option.  Even though the file gets
across the net: DiskSalv can't do something to the file and then DiskSalv 
gets upset.  I did get my harddisk salvaged across the net: but kept having to 
hit RETURN to ignore some error.  Still better than using floppies.
