Message-ID: <519@hrshcx.UUCP> Date: 13 Dec 89 20:58:39 GMT Distribution: usa Organization: Harris Computer Systems - Fort Lauderdale, Fl. Lines: 36 I just installed my A2620 board and I can not go into 68000 mode, the machine just hangs with the orange screen from the selection menu. History. my system has a : 4.2 mother board ( could this be a problem??) IVS trumpcard and an ST277N (SCSI) MaxHackers HD controller (MFM non-DMA) 2058 memory board with 4meg on board This setup does seem to work in 68020 mode, but again it hangs when I try to get into the 68000 mode of operation. Help Help.... I don't want to replace the mother board ( ouch). But a local shop has said it may very well be the rev of the mother board that is causing this problem... ALSO: Are there any good benchmark type programs to check the speed of the system Any help , comments, and programs are greatly appreciated. gregg@hechcx.HARRIS.COM or gregg@hrshcx.HARRIS.COM Phone: (305)749-1482 H 977-5604 W
