Upon installing the A2630 in my rev. 4.1 motherboard I experienced the same failure. I had been advised by someone at Commodore that I would need to upgrade my motherboard to 4.5 and that this should only involve the cost of labor with the purchase of the card. I do not represent Commodore in any way and do not guarantee that my info is correct beyond my current condition.
