I am chiefly interested in programming (learning) and exploring the areas of fractals, chaos, number theory, and just experimenting with the machine. My current system has 2Mg and 2 floppies. What kind of incompatibility problems might I face? ARP 1.3? TDI Modula-2? XLISP 2.0? ASM68k? JForth Pro 2.0? I know that a great speedup in floating point operations is possible, but will that generally be automatic, or only on programs written to use the 68020/68881? Will there be much difference in most programs, or really just the floating point intensive ones? Are there problems with this board, or with adding an accelerator in general? Thanks in advance.
