Keywords: filesystem tape Message-ID: <7063@shlump.nac.dec.com> Date: 22 Dec 89 04:07:47 GMT Sender: newsdaemon@shlump.nac.dec.com Organization: Digital Equipment Corporation Lines: 13 I'm looking for ways of support a tape drive on my Amiga. I can't find any references to a supported file system or driver for a generic tape drive. I have a SCSI tape unit and a C Ltd. SCSI host adapter. Does anyone have a driver in any form I could use as a basis for creating one? Or better yet, has anyone already done this? Also, once I have the driver, is there a supported mechanism to treat the thing as some sort of file structured device, similar to how VAX/VMS or RSX11-M treat tapes as single directory, sequential file structured device? I guess I'm looking for a file system for tape. -tl
