This may not be a serious complaint, but it surprises me that
during the shutdown sequence I see these messages on the console

Waiting for 3 processes to stop ...
Waiting for 2 processes to stop ...
Waiting for 1 processes to stop ...
Blasting 2 miscreants ...

By the way: every once in a while the latter action will take
forever, and you have to reset the machine. I don't know under
which circumstances.
