Has anybody else tried this (option S under the Volume repair section)?
I get the following values:

		Linear read	Random read	Overhead
AppleDisk 3.5:	16.34 msec	152.17 msec	6.89 msec
InnerDrive 20:	3.99 msec	22.04 msec	3.23 msec

I'd be interested in seeing results from Vulcan drives, SCSI drives with
an Ohio-Kache card, Turbo Siders, etc.  Send mail to fadden@cory.berkeley.edu
with the results you get, and I'll post a summary.
