It's a nice compiler and among it's many options are ones for creating romable code and S-record file output for creating eproms. Another nice feature is that Manx has put in a -lot- of effort to keep all of their compilers as compatable with each other as possible. As long as you avoid using machine specific constructs or operations, you can buy (for example) Aztec-C for the IBM, Amiga, Mac, Apple II, etc. and port your program(s) to those machines with little or no effort...). The only disadvantage to Aztec-C is it's not easy to find. Your best bet would be to call Manx and order it directly (as I did). The old version of the ST developers kit had a linker that also allowed creating romable code and a converter program that would generate S-record files for eproming... ...
