I need to know this for both XT BIOS and AT BIOS... I have an AT PHEONIX 3.10 BIOS and I don't think there was any support for 1224 cylinders in the drive list..... Is there anyway to get around this using special software such as Disk Manager or Speedstore... Also, does the Hard Drive Controller BIOS automatically support drives greater than 1024 cylinders... In other words, is it BOTH the Computer BIOS and HD Controller BIOS that allows you to use hard drives greater than 1024 cylinders? I have a Maxter 2190 drive which has 1224 cylinders 15 heads.... I would like to use all 1224 cylinders but currently can only access 1024 cylinders.... I am also using Disk Manager 3.4 with it... Thanks in advance...
