It seems that whenever I $format a paragraph as a Running-head, the paragraph disappears from the $screen, with no way to get it back; however, the paragrah still $shows up as a Running-head when I print out the document. This is a $big problem, since it's impossible to edit the Running-head (or even $see what it is). This bug didn't exist under Word 4.0, and as far as I $can tell from the manual, there aren't any major changes between $4.0 and 5.0 in the way you define Running-heads. Am I doing something $wrong, or is this a real bug? Does Microsoft know about it, and $do they plan to do anything about it? This occurs when the Options Show Layout (Alt-F4) is enabled. There should also be a "LY" at the bottom of your screen. To view the running head, just turn the option of (Alt-F4 toggles) and the running head should be visible. -- Scott Bostater GTRI/RAIL/RAD (Ga.
