We're looking for info on MS-DOS packages which include utilities for
controlling software versions, managing source code, making files, and 
other aspects of software configuration management.  A few companies that
market these types of packages include:
   - Polytron Corp. (PVCS, PolyMake, PolyLibrarian, et al)
   - Seidl Computer Engineering (Version Manager, SMK, SMKgen) 
     [this company is owned by another company now -- Pantel?]
   - Quilt Computing (QMAKE, SRMS) [does this company still exist?]

Does anyone have any experience with these packages or know of other
companies which market similar packages?  Please e-mail me (or post if you
want) any info and recommendations or other comments.  (Also let me know 
if there is another newsgroup that I should post this to)
