I recently borrowed a drive from a friend, and when I put it in my machine, it performed significantly slower than on his. Does anybody know what might cause this? I have a cheapo generic multi-i/o card. I was thinking of trying to fiddle with the floppy disk parameter table at location 0:0522. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Sam C.
