Unless you've got DOS 4.x, you won't have seen the **IX steal, 'alias' If you have trouble remembering any unix command, you can use e.g.: alias type cat in your .login file, just like having a cat.bat file which says type %1 both are flexible enough to be MADE friendly to any individual user, if you know how.
