The computer I am connected to has a program called "xmodem" but I can't seem to get it to work with White Knight (11.02). There's always Kermit, but it is PAINFULLY slow. I've heard of macget/macput, but have been unable to find the source code for it to compile on the Vax. I am looking for anything xmodem- like, but would prefer some of the newer, sexier protocols like YMODEM or ZMODEM. 2) I have been able to catch snipets about a problem with Quantum 40 meg hard disks. Since I have joined the net only a few weeks ago, I think I missed the bulk of the thread, could someone please post a synopsis of the symptoms/solutions since I have been having some problems with my HD40.
