It is a connector that you insert the MacPlus ROMS into, hook up an Apple external drive to it and run the software from that drive. It works better than I would like to admit. I ran Adobe Illustrator 1.6 on it, ReadySetGo and some others. It ran a couple of games too I beleive. It creates a window that has a slight flicker but looks halfway decent.
