They talked about two fans: a Piezoelectric fan and a box fan. I assume you refer to the box fan. Here is what is said about it. "... The correct size (of fans) for Macs measures 2-3/8-inch square by 1-in or 1.25-in thick. ... "Electrically, the red fan lead connects to the yellow, ninth wire of the power supply harness (+12V) and the black fan lead connects to the violet, sixth wire (DC ground) of the power supply harness. For a clean connection w/o having to cut or solder anyting, use Radio Shack wire tap-ins #64-302 (10 for $1.69). With tap-in connectors, all you have to do is place the wires alongside each other and squeeze. The fan itself mounts up under the left rear exhaust vent.
