I just spent the past hour tracking down this bug.  I was changing the
Layout file in the finder on system 6.0.4.  When I tried a "Get Info"
on the finder, I kept getting a crash.  ID=0 and MacsBug error something about
error trying to deque?  I tried various combinations of removing the debugger,
all inits, checking for virus w/Disinfectant 1.5, using Disk first Aid,
replacing the sytem and finder.  I finally tracked it down to
Gatekeeper Aid 1.0.  I guess I'll resort to Disinfectant 1.5 until a bug 
fix is released.
