Check out the article comparing some (eight?) word processors in the
September '89 MacWorld.  They compared the following word processors:

     MS Write 1.0        MindWrite 2.1          Word Perfect 1.0.2
     MacWrite II         MS Word 4.0            Nisus 1.0
     WriteNow 2.0        FullWrite Pro 1.0
