Sound Leech will extract a snd_ resource from anything and create a data file that can be used by SoundMaster. Sound Mover (current version = 1.51r) does all kinds of things including several format conversions. Both are on all the networks. If you're really into sounds, get Farallon's MacRecorder. It comes with SoundEdit and lots of Hypercard stuff. Then you can make your own sounds and edit them and everyone else's all night like I do. SoundEdit can open either resource or data sounds and Save As... the other format (including the special HyperCard format). Not much bucks for a lot of fun. -Russ
