Cool your jets. I am told that when PARC was started, Xerox drained (read: hired away) most of the top-notch talent from other firms in Silicon Valley. Xerox's name was mud throughout the region. Xerox lost employees because it drove them away. Apple's "hiring away" was much more respectable than Xerox's.
