Summary: Superglue II & Superlaserspool 2.0 Message-ID: <95392@pyramid.pyramid.com> Date: 20 Dec 89 21:14:40 GMT Sender: daemon@pyramid.pyramid.com Reply-To: alh@pyrnova.pyramid.com (Alan Holzman) Organization: Pyramid Technology Corp., Mountain View, CA Lines: 29 I've just finished speaking to both of these companies (Solutions Inc. and Supermac Technology). It seems that Superglue II and Superlaserspool 2.0 do NOT work together at all. The person from Solutions was very polite and let me know that there was no current fix and probably none forthcoming. He suggested just "turning off" SLS whenever I needed to use Superglue. Not a very happy compromise. He then stated that the problem was definitely in SLS. The Tech Support person from Supermac was a bit on the cranky side, especially when I mentioned that Solutions thought it was an SLS problem. He had no solution to offer and further stated that it was "their problem" & nothing would be forth- coming. Here is yet another example of two well-respected Macintosh companies engaging in "finger-pointing" without probably even discussing the issue with each other. Don't we; the users, deserve better than this ? How do we get some of these recalcitrant companies to drop all the B.S. about whose "fault" a problem may be and just work together. Surely good service must go hand & hand with a good product or people will find another source for their needs ... Anyone had a better experience of two companies working together and providing timely problem resolution ?
