It has one argument whose value is either WriteOn or WriteOff. Debug WriteOff prevents changes in a card from being saved to disk Since Debug is no longer needed (HC v 1.2 and greater can deal with locked and read-only media), it may dissappear in future versions of HyperTalk. It was just a temporary fix.
