I'm having trouble hooking up a modem to the serial port on an old     
Compaq portable. Data goes out but it won't come in. This may be a
busted pin in the RS-232 interface but it seems more likely that I
need a patch to fix the interrupt handlers. Does anyone know where
I could look for such a patch?
