Lewenberg) Distribution: usa Organization: Dept. of Mathematics, Univ. of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Lines: 13 A question about Commutative Diagrams: If I amstex a file that has a commutative diagram in it (i.e. uses the \CD \endCD construct) amstex seems to ignore the \CD and \endCD. BUT if I put the command '\input amstex' at the head of the file, I get the right diagram. Why is this happening? I would assume that using a .fmt file generated from the amstex.tex file would be equivalent to inputing the file amstex.tex file directly (only faster). Thanks, Adam H. Lewenberg
