The optimze option to cc  (-O) doesn't causes problems in ISC 386/ix ver.2.02.
Compiling the regexp-package of H. Spencer (comp.sources.unix) comes with
a test file for the package. 4 of about 100 cases failed after compiling
with -O, but worked fine without.
