The config is a Compaq 386/20 1.2 A: drive and a 1.44 B: drive. I can get the B: drive to work as a 720k, but not as a 1.44. Usually I get bad media descriptor, or something to that effect, when trying to read it as a 1.44. I've re-made the device with mknod, but still get the same problem. I've also put in a different drive. The drives work fine under dos in the same machine. useing /dev/dsk/f13ht (I beleive, however I tried them all). Any help appreciated .... Thanks Bob uunet!wa3wbu!ka3adu!lester
