Keywords: RCS rlog locked files Message-ID: <685@caldwr.UUCP> Date: 16 Dec 89 00:18:24 GMT Distribution: na Organization: California Department of Water Resources Lines: 22 Here we go with yet another silly question, this one about the RCS function rlog. I'm writing an emacs-lisp function to checkin all checked-out rcs files in a directory. I naturally want to limit it to only those files the user has checked out, not somebody else's checked out files. But, when I do, e.g. rlog -R -L -lrfinch RCS/* it gives me all checked out files, as if the -lrfinch had no effect. Am I doing something wrong? Misreading the rlog man page? I'm using rcs version 4.3. PS. Many thanks to those who responded to my previous question about flushing buffers. I was thinking there might be some OS level call to flush a buffer, or perhaps some public domain daemon which would periodically do so, but I guess not. Sigh. (I'm a fortran-er, which explains my abject ignorance on C matters). -- Ralph Finch The opinions expressed herein are mine... ...ucbvax!ucdavis!caldwr!rfinch 916-445-0088
