We are getting XENIX very soon, ie perhaps only 5-6 weeks away and I have been asked if I wish to install it. I agreed (thought it might be fun at least) but I have never had experience of XENIX. I have used UNIX for the last 3 years and would therefore like some mail from those in NETLAND concerning any major differences between UNIX (pref BSD) and XENIX. The machine is being provided by IBM and I presume we can run DOS programs on it somehow. Does anyone know exactly how this is done and how it accesses the storage etc etc? Is it necessary for a seperate partition? All letters gratefully received -=Andy=-
