I am trying to re-map some of the keys on an NCD-19 keyboard, setting the new translations in my .Xdefaults file. I have been successful with all keys except the Setup key (perhaps it shouldn't be re-mappable) and the Num_Lock key. When I press the Num_Lock key, it will generate the programmed string EVERY OTHER TIME. Now, I know that it normally acts a a toggle switch, so I suspect something is swallowing the keysym before it gets to the xterm client. Can anyone explain what is happenning and/or how to get the Num_Lock keysym all the time?
