I could do what ever is necessary, (like WMHints) to be nice to ICCCM window managers and stuff. What ever happend to the xterm icons in X10 when you could just look at the little version of the xterm window (the icon) to see which one was beeping. I've thought that the sequence "password:" should turn on secure mode, and that "Message from Talk Deamon @" Should map the window and raise it... (But we all know that Xterm is already ugly enough inside to hack it up this bad.) -- Marty.
