People pointed out that it didn't compile on X11R3, because it was expecting an X11R4beta configuration. I got it to compile under the Ultrix `mit' version of X11R3 (no mean feat, that) save for two run-time problems. (1) you'll get conversion warnings for string -> float conversion. You can ignore them. [or find a float -> string converter] (2) under DECwindows, at least, it hangs in XtSystem (my routine) on a call to XtRemoveInput - I can't see why. If anyone has any clues, please let me know.
