How does one use x-menu.el?  Or doesn't one (i.e., is there an alternative)?
The code is both undocumented and odd (e.g., none of the functions are 
interactive, even the x-menu major-mode function).

I am running X11R3 and Emacs 18.55.3, and had enjoyed x-popup-menus under
X10 (I think) when I last had a workstation on my desk.
