We have sun3/os4 and sun4/os4 machines here, both running emacs 18.55
and gnus 3.12.  When people try to read the news on the sparcs they
get to the headers *Newsgroups* buffer, but when you type space it
says checking ... then delete bogus newsgroup ...  This doesn't happen
on the 68020's.  Is anyone aware of a bug that could cause this?
