I wonder why this is such a big problem when in comparison you might see in "comp.mail.maps" some 5 to 10 "u.gbr.?" maps posted per month all over the world, to give a trivial example. It seems like the stats are like a kind of local weather report which are of use on a day to day basis esp. when there are news droughts or floods...
