You wondered about the time between when you leave, and get your new account
(which you may not know before hand). I'd imagine that adding a .forward might
cause mail stored in your mailbox to be forwarded.. then again it may only work
on incomming mail. If the former, then you could always add the file at a later
date and get your stuff. If not, mail the sysop and ask him/her to be kind
enough to forward it for you.
