Message-ID: Date: 26 Dec 89 04:52:16 GMT Sender: news@rocket.UUCP Distribution: comp Organization: Sanders Associates (a Lockheed Company) Lines: 18 We have installed 6.2 on a sun3/4.0.3 machine. Locally it works fine. The instructions for setting up client machine to talk to it is to share all files, and only run iirungcn and iirungcc from the client. When I do this, inamu won't work anymore on either server or client. I believe it is because the client iirungxx is bashing critical things with ingsetenv (like the GCN vnode and port) which are shared. If I kill rerun gcn on the server, I can run inamu ok there. How is this stuff ever supposed to work? Has anyone else succeeded? -- Dr. Webster Dove Special Computing Applications Advanced Technology Engineering Sanders Associates (a Lockheed Company) uunet!rocket!dove
